Care Instructions
Wash with care
Down products are delicate and require special care to maintain optimal performance. Use a front-loading washing machine ONLY. Wash in warm water with a mild powder detergent (no bleach) on a gentle cycle with a slow spin. It may be necessary to repeat the rinse cycle to ensure all detergent residue is removed. An additional spin cycle can help remove excess water. Do not pull the product out of the washing machine; lift it from underneath.
Close all fasteners
Wash the garment inside out and close all Velcro® fasteners and zippers to prevent damage before washing.
Professional Cleaning
If your down product doesn't fit in your washing machine or dryer, we recommend having it professionally cleaned. This will make your life easier.
Tumble Dry on Low Heat
Tumble dry your down product for an extended period on a low heat setting. It's also important to wash and dry items individually. We recommend placing tennis balls in the dryer to prevent the down from clumping.
Do Not Hang to Dry
If you don't have a tumble dryer, you can dry your down product on a radiator. Turn it over occasionally to maintain the down's evenness.
Inspect Before Washing
Before washing, please carefully read the care label inside the garment.
To wear with
Cold temperatures
Layering is a way to stay warm, so wear it with a base layer, a mid-layer fleece, and a waterproof outer layer in rainy and windy weather.
